The University of Nebraska Artificial Intelligence (NU AI) Institute is a system-wide initiative focused on meaningful impact in AI research, education, and engagement by empowering faculty, staff, and students across the four NU campuses to foster collaboration and innovation.
As the NU AI Institute begins its first year of activity, this forum offers the UNO community an opportunity to learn more about the institute’s vision, explore pathways for collaboration, and help shape how our campus contributes to systemwide AI research, education, and engagement.
Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to join the conversation and consider how UNO’s strengths can play a role in advancing this shared initiative.
Co-director of the NU AI institute, Dr. Santosh Pitla, professor of Biological Systems Engineering at UNL, and Adrian Wisnicki, professor of English at UNL will share their plan to amplify and synergize AI initiatives on each of the four campuses, accelerating discovery and elevating collective resonance.
